Single Reef

A delicious mild-to-medium heat sauce made from Fresno peppers and other fresh ingredients that bring out the essence of the peppers. Low heat, plenty of flavor.

Double Reef

A tasty, medium-heat sauce made with Habanero peppers and other fresh ingredients to enhance the taste of the pepper. This is a fan favorite for Habanero lovers.

Code Zero - No Heat

This no heat sauce is made from Habanada peppers. Enjoy all the flavor of Habaneros without any of the heat.

Located on Mount Desert Island, Maine, Chad Thieken first began making hot sauce in 2019. His sauces were inspired by his travels as a Superyacht Captain, picking peppers wherever his work took him.

His very first foray into hot sauce came from improving upon a recipe from a Patagonia catalog– the sauce which would become Chad’s Single Reef. The prototype for Chad’s Double Reef came from peppers he picked as he ventured through the Tahitian jungle. Back in Maine, Chad’s uses New England grown Fresno, Habanero, and Habanada peppers to make his globally inspired small batch sauces
