A well-seasoned carbon steel pan strikes a useful balance between cast iron and stainless steel– the heat retention of cast iron; the control and maneuverability of stainless steel– with a naturally non-stick surface provided by the seasoning. The seasoning also makes for easier clean up and keeps the surface of your pan protected from rust and corrosion.

Designed for rapid movement and high heat, this Made In Wok has a flat bottom instead of a traditional rounded base, ideal for home stoves including induction, gas and electric. Its conical shape provides maximum heat contact so you can caramelize sauce in an instant and sear proteins at extreme heat. 

Half the weight of cast iron but every bit as durable, these pans season faster, respond quicker to changes in heat, and stand up to a grill or open flame. Even better, Made In pre-seasons with a mixture of shea nut oil and coconut oil. The first two seasonings are taken care of so you can experience the difference Carbon Steel makes as soon as your new pan hits the stovetop.
