Blood Orange Olive Oil
Hand-picked at peak ripeness, blood oranges, and Tunisian Chetoui (shuh-too-ee) & Chemlali (chem-lah-lee) olives are crushed together forming our Blood Orange Olive Oil. This process is called Agrumato. The process of creating the Agrumato is an artisan labor of love that requires a level of craftsmanship and dedication to quality. Incredibly fresh with bright citrus and floral notes.
Tasting notes and serving suggestions: This unique oil pairs perfectly with Moroccan or Indian spices on lamb or pork. Mix with harissa to form a condiment for grilled meat or fish. For rich, moist baked goods, add to your cake or brownie recipe. Add a little to your maple syrup to top French toast for a subtle hint of orange that layers nicely with the sweetness of the maple syrup. Great for marinades or finishing oil for grilled shrimp, scallops and fish. Makes a refreshing citrus salad dressing; whisk together with one of our white balsamic vinegars and serve over mixed greens. Tastes beautiful mixed with Dark Chocolate Balsamic poured over vanilla ice cream.
